Free Children's Art Classes at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum

The Tillamook County Pioneer Museum is holding another session of free art classes for elementary school children beginning this month. The classes are sponsored through the generosity of a grant from the Tillamook County Cultural Coalition.

Mrs. April Petersen will be teaching radial mandala design and construction for grades 1-3 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM on Saturday, Feb. 13. Mandala classes for students in grades 4-6 will be held Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10:00 to 12 noon.

On March 6, Mrs. Petersen will teach the 1-3 grade children about collages and they will create their own. Grades 4-6 will hold their collage class on April 10. If students choose, they may leave their projects to be displayed at the Pioneer Museum from April until June.
