Birding & Blues Festival
April 21-23, 2017
Join us for the 13th Annual Pacific City Birding and Blues Festival. Attend nature presentations, guided birding field trips, a live blues concert, and more! On Friday, go to the free events that include a children’s art activity, live birds of prey presentation, and albatross presentation. Our keynote speaker is Paul Bannick who will speak about his new book Owl: A Year in the Lives of North American Owls on Saturday. Later in the evening the Eugene-based Joanne Broh Band will bring out your inner funk during their live concert.
Dory Days Festival
July 14 – 17, 2017
Join us for the 58th annual Dory Days; a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City. This festival is hosted by the Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Pacific City Dorymen’s Association and the theme for this year is, “Let the Good Times Roll”.
Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 am. The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City. Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. The Dorymen’s Association will operate a booth to answer questions from the public and a display of dory boats in the Cape parking.
Dory Days has been recognized by the Oregon Heritage Commission as an Oregon Heritage Tradition and joins only a handful of other events for this honor.
Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic

Join us for the 19th Annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic which features over 175 participants competing in 20 minutes heats for two consecutive days. The event kicks off on Friday night with dinner, bonfire on the beach, and beer garden sponsored by the Pelican Brewery.
On Saturday the competition starts at 8 am and runs until 5 pm. There will also be a silent auction, Brewfest, vendors, and live music. On Sunday, the competition continues from 8 am to 3 pm with an awards ceremony immediately following.
Clover’s Day Festival

The Clover’s Day Festival honors Cloverdale’s rural heritage and dairy industry. Join us on Saturday, July 1st for the 36th annual celebration in downtown Cloverdale.
The festival kicks off with the Clover’s Day parade, led by the prettiest cow in town, and is followed by a pancake breakfast, classic auto show, live music, and more. This is one event that local residents and tourists both look forward to each year.
